You will be looked upon as a leader within a crew, working directly for the foreman, and with team members on the installation and maintenance of communication towers, support structures, in-building, small cell, and DAS builds. As a tower technician II, you will be highly skilled and looked upon as an expert. You may be tasked to help the foreman provide training and guidance to your team members. Tower technicians work long hours, travel throughout New England, and work at great heights in extreme weather conditions. This job is only for the most extreme of people. Job Responsibilities

  1. Successfully complete company safety training
  2. Ability to communicate professionally, both written and orally
  3. Assist in completion of closeout and any other customer requirements in timely fashion
  4. Climbing and working on communications towers installing, replacing, and repairing antenna, microwave, small cell, and other systems
  5. Installation of hybrid cable and fiber
  6. Working knowledge in the use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  7. The ability to climb tall structures with 30-50 lb. load
  8. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot customer technology with assistance of foreman
  9. Ability to operate sweep, PIM, and microwave test gear under supervision
  10. Analyze jobsite situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action, under supervision
  11. Ability to following instructions and complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance
  12. Recognize safety hazards, perform duties in a safe manner
  13. Must have High school diploma or equivalent
  14. Must have 3+ years of experience climbing and working on towers
  15. Attention to detail
  16. Prefer experience stacking self-support towers, install waveguide, antennas and microwave dishes
  17. Possession of a valid driver license and ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Records check
    OSHA 10 certified
